Weenie and Dali
Dali does not have a lot of friends. In fact, she’s kind of a surly bitch. She hisses at every cat and avoids their company like the plague. I can’t blame her, though. She was attacked by another cat when she was younger and I think it left an impression. That, and some cats are kind of a ‘one kitty per house’ sort.
Well, she had the misfortune of falling into the hands of someone who wants a thousand kitties. I did my best to hold off, but when two little boys literally adopted me from the streets covered in fleas, I couldn’t just turn them away. I even attempted (sorta) to adopt them out but fell in love. Who wouldn’t? I am weak and my love for kitties strong. A third new kitty was added when she was causing trouble at her then-home.
It might seem cruel and regrettable that I would put my 15 year old cat through all of this but really it has turned out for the better. She loves playing with Weenie! They chase each other almost every morning and evening, batting and rolling around. They never make full contact, but my old cat is so spry and she really whoops that ass. She’s lost good weight and seems healthier overall. She has gone from laying around bored while I desperately try to find things to stimulate her to chasing Weenie around, playing with objects, and just generally being a ‘cat’.
Who knew that her ultimate toy was a playful girl cat? No regrets!

This is Wiener! She is the sexiest Weenie I know. She likes to strike poses for us throughout the day. Here she is in the middle of our hallway looking super duper sexy!

Bat Cat had surgery earlier this year. His urethra became blocked and he was unable to pass urine. I caught it very early so his hospital stay wasn’t long and he has yet to re-block! Here he is on his favorite blanket the day he came home!

A short intro!
I have four kitties, two girls and two boys! The first is a childhood kitty that I took with me when I moved out of my parent’s home, the second two were strays that adopted us, and the third was a troublemaker who needed a home with kitties that wouldn’t put up with her bullying behavior.
Dali is the oldest at 15. She’s a tortoiseshell Japanese Bobtail who my parents found at a pet store in Hawaii. Right away I bonded with her! She is really a huge personality (and a bit of a butterball). This cat has so much sass and she doesn’t put up with anyone’s nonsense! Despite being the only declawed kitty in the house she commands fear and respect with her fists of fury! She is LOUD and doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind (as bobbies are known to do!). Her and I have a very sister-like relationship. Sometimes we get so mad at each other, but in the end we make up. I feel like we can read each other like siblings, but we’ve spent a ton of time together. See why I’m so kooky? :)
Batcat found me one night in the parking lot of my apartment. As I stepped out of my car with an armful of stuff a little black and white kitten decided it was the perfect place to jump on for affection. Not wanting to miss a chance to have free hands to pet this cute, affectionate kitten I swiftly brought him upstairs! He seemed instantly at home and no one ever claimed him. He’s still very affectionate and likes to wind himself around our shoulders for a good scritch. Sometimes he’s a bit obnoxious about it and will headbutt me in the mouth, nose, or knock my glasses off, but I know he means well. Mostly. He’s essentially my dog in a cat body and is always happy to accompany me wherever I go!
Gus the Bust Walter, aka The Hooting Hammer, came to us the same night Batcat did. Once Batty was settled we left to go get dinner, only to be approached by a fearless orange tabby kitten who rubbed himself all over my Ultradude (aka boyfriend). How could I say no? I’m kooky for kitties! So upstairs he went. I’m pretty sure they are brothers since they both are the same age and have the same white patterns on the same spots, just different coat colors. Well, Gus is still as fearless as ever! He crashes into things (hence the nickname) and does the craziest stunts! He’s really a badass, but he has a serious cuddly side. He goes bananas for shrimp!
Wiener. Yes, Wiener. And yes, she’s a she! Her original name is November since that is when the family found her alone in the woods. Unfortunately she was kept in the basement with too many other cats and the family’s aunt, my friend, took to finding these cats some homes! She did not originally belong to me but to a Veterinary friend of mine. However, Weenie was a bully, so I invited myself to fostering her and letting her try her tricks on my two rowdy boys! It ended up working and she started fitting in with the family so well, even bonding to UltraDude, that I simply could not adopt her out. So, she became the fourth and final kitty! We called her ‘Wee one’, which turned into ‘Weenie’ because she is such a stinkin’ weenie about things like nail trims, and then it just became ‘Weiner’ due to the hilarious nature of the word. She has turned into one sexy kitty! She struts around, drops dramatically, and stretches out in super sexy poses. One can not deny the sexy Wiener. She’s also still kind of a bitch, but we love that she’s just being her sexy, confident self.
